Saving British wildlife

I popped into Wildlife Aid today, to say hello to some of the wonderful volunteers we have, who help us make a real change to British Wildlife. Most people don’t realise the strain that British wildlife is currently under. For example, are you aware that the good old British hedgehog is likely to become extinct in our country in a few years time? Have you any idea that the British bee is in serious and critical decline and that it’s extinction (and therefore huge effect on pollination) will have a devastating effect on our ecosystem. We are doing our bit at Wildlife Aid and process over 16,000 animals at our hospital each year, not to mention the huge amount of education we do in schools. Habitat change is one of the biggest factors and you can learn more about how you too can help at our website at

Another chance: This baby badger (and his three siblings) will be released this summer.
